Dinosaur park, where they have and still
find hundreds of skeletons.

You can still see some of them in the original spot
where they are found. They just constructed a nice
building around it.

Next point Harper's Corner. A real must to go all
the way to the end.

What seems first a boring scenic drive,

started getting better and better by the mile.
The last 2 mile hike was just stunning.

Left, 1000 ft down, the Green River meandering
around the Steamboat Rock, forming Echo Park.

And on the right, the Yampa river in the Whirlpool
Canyon.

You can stand on the tip of the rock, and take a wide
panoramic view to see both Canyons.

Brings also on the political debate about a dam or
not. One side wanted to build a huge dam, and
submerging the whole valley, including dinosaur
remains. Having affordable hydro energy is the most
important thing for human kind.
The other side wants to preserve the historical
value and sees that small changes, causes a slow but
sure chain reaction of destruction.

On the way back, blocked by some sheep's.
Good that there are real Cowboy's around.
